Updates last week were a little sparse, but trust me, a fair bit happened – it just wasn’t online.
For starters, we managed to bring the vegan population up by one:
I’ve got more info coming up in Monday’s newsletter (along with some stuff that’s actually related to veganism,) but I just wanted to give a heads up since some of you were checking in to make sure we were OK. And oh yeah, we’re way more than OK…
We’ve got some stuff planned for this week that’s more appropriate to the topic of Staying Vegan, but I figure I’m allowed one post as a proud papa 
Sorry for the absence, but I hope you’ll understand, and there’ll be more vegan tips and tricks here very soon – somehow, it seems a lot more important than ever before…

I was thinking that maybe that’s what was going on. So happy for you guys. As a new mommy myself I’m still basking in that blissful feeling, so I know how amazing you must be feeling. Please take all the time you need to enjoy your little one. I’m also a blogger, and I took a solid 2 months ‘maternity leave’ with virtually no updates. I was afraid I would lose followers, but my readership actually grew! People are loyal when they find a good thing – and this here is a good thing. So don’t worry about us!

So exciting! Take the time you need and bask in the glow. I completely understand the feeling of this being more important now that ever (I became vegan as a direct result of my daughter’s birth). Patience and rest vibes are being sent to you and your partner from me and my over-tired partner of a ten-month old. It’s gets better and better every day (and every day it’s harder to imagine it could get better).
If you don’t already have it, we got That’s Why We Don’t Eat Animals and it’s a really great children’s book- not really an infant book, but we read it to her anyway- for vegan kids.
